That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

How do you know you're saved? I was witnessing to a young man; couldn't have been any older than 17 or 18 years old, and I asked him if he was saved; and if he knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He seemed a little hesistant to answer when I asked "how did he know." He asked, "What do you mean how do I know? I said I didn't mean any harm." I apologized for being so bold--then I asked him again; he confided he didn't know how he knew. I referred him to Romans 10:9,10 which says that if you confess with you mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God the Father has raised Christ from the grave, then you are saved; at that he said, "Is that it! That's all I have to know to know that I'm saved?" I told him if anyone ever asks you again how do you know you're saved--tell them for a fact I know I am saved.

Can you say that today? Can you say for a fact that you are saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost? If not, and you'd like to, won't you recite this prayer and accept Jesus Christ into your heart and life as Lord and Savior of your life?

Dear Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, and I need to be saved. Please dear Lord, cleanse me of all sin, and enter into my heart. I hate the devil, and all that he stands for. Please dear Lord, write my name in the Lamb's Book of Life. I will study your Word, and share it with others as your Spirit leads. I thank You and praise You for my salvation in Jesus' name. AMEN
