Salvation
What is salvation? Salvation is the act of saving
from destruction or catastrophe--especially the saving of the soul from sin or
its consequences. With that, the next obvious question is:
Are You Saved? Have you made that personal
commitment between you and the Lord Jesus Christ to accept Him as your personal
Savior? You may ask: Why Do I Need A
Savior? I'm Not A Bad Person. The Bible says: "All have
sinned and come short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23)." The
Bible states in Psalm 51:5: "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in
sin did my mother conceive me." To make matters worse, the Apostle
Paul lets us know that: ". . . The wages of sin is death (Romans
6:23)." Now what do I do? What Must I Do To Be
Saved? It's very simple; and it doesn't cost anything--it's a free
gift. The Bible says: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9)." Believe it in your
heart and confess with your mouth (say it aloud), that Jesus is Lord and you
desire Him to enter your heart and save you, then you shall be saved--Born
again! Won't you do it now? Don't wait until it's too
late, He's waiting for you. Please recite these words while wholly
believing in your heart that you WILL be saved: Dear Lord
Jesus, I'm a sinner in need of a Savior. Please Lord, come into my heart
and save me. Write my name in the Lamb's Book of Life. I hate the
devil and all that he stands for. I promise to serve You and share Your
Holy Word with others. Thank you Lord, for coming into my heart and saving
me now. - Amen If you
recited this prayer in faith, and believed in your heart you ARE now Saved. Won't you let us know
about your decision to give your life to the Lord and allow us to pray with you? Take
a few moments to answer a few questions below so that we may pray for you.
Congratulations, God bless you and welcome to the family.
